Permalinkall COVID restrictions is tentatively targeted for June 21.
That date is defined as Stage 4 of 4. Stage 1 begins on March 8
with all schools reopening for all pupils - also two people who
are currently not able to meet up will be able to do so as long
as they meet outdoors. From March 29 outdoor gatherings of up to 6
people or 2 households will be allowed to meet up. Outdoor sports
will also resume March 29.
Stage 2 - targeted for April 12 will see all shops reopening as well
as hairdressers, gyms & outdoor hospitality. Zoos & themeparks will
reopen.
Stage 3 - could start on May 17, with most social contact rules
lifted as well as limited indoor mixing.
All dates are subject to several tests to deterine that all is going
well.
I saw a report recently that Wimbledon will probably dispense with line
judges this year - on all courts, where Hawkeye Live will be used, as
it was in Melbourne.
