Just imagine Donald Trump in the Oval Office facing a real crisis. We
can’t afford that kind of risk.

https://twitter.com/hillaryclinton/status/762739172054601728?lang=en

Now of course Trump supporters will ask what could Trump have done?

Well, Miles Taylor (former DHS chief of staff in Trump administration)
said it in his Washington Post opinion piece;

"The president’s bungled response to the coronavirus pandemic is the
ultimate example. In his cavalier disregard for the seriousness of the
threat, Trump failed to make effective use of the federal crisis
response system painstakingly built after 9/11. Years of DHS planning
for a pandemic threat have been largely wasted. Meanwhile, more than
165,000 Americans have died."

Covid-19, if it exists, and I believe it does exist, kills those

Weak excuse for unnecessary deaths.

USA has around 4% of world population but around 22% of world Covid deaths.

And around 24% of worldwide Covid cases...let's not forget how having
even a mild Covid fucks up your blood vessels, brain & lungs.

7-day moving average (Florida):
Wuhan virus cases: 4,286 (down from 11,870 five weeks ago)
Wuhan virus deaths: 121 (down from 184 three weeks ago)

You promised us 500 deaths per day, shitbag ...
Just to remind you - New York still has the daily record with 1,025 on April, 7th.

Well US over 170k is A LOT!

I'm pretty sure that India, China and Russia have more deaths than stats
show... still not probably close to USA. China of course was VERY
draconian with their covid measures.

It depends a lot on what government does, and how seriously people take
it. For example in 70 million population Thailand they've gotten almost
entirely rid of it... because they take it very seriously. Something
like 1 case a day now.
Isn't it amazing that Thailand has been infinitely more effective with
covid than the 'most prepared nation for a pandemic in the world'...

An honest discussion would have been to explain what should have been done to have prevented these deaths using only what we knew at the time. The only thing I can think of use masks and put patients on their stomach. Who knows how many thousands of people died because of our medical system's incompetence (Yes, I do blame them as well, it's staggering that they did not know that ).

the media refuse to say it but it must be that after 2 months of lockdown the only new cases could've come from hospitals and people breaking the rules like with the protests. Yes the hospitals and healthcare people should've worn masks and eye/face protection from the start.

Just imagine Donald Trump in the Oval Office facing a real crisis. We
can’t afford that kind of risk.
https://twitter.com/hillaryclinton/status/762739172054601728?lang=en

Now of course Trump supporters will ask what could Trump have done?
Well, Miles Taylor (former DHS chief of staff in Trump administration)
said it in his Washington Post opinion piece;
Meanwhile, more than
165,000 Americans have died."
https://outline.com/Z28M9x
(Washington Post article by Miles Taylor)
People always die.
Covid-19, if it exists, and I believe it does exist, kills those
who are weak and would die soon any way.
Weak excuse for unnecessary deaths.
USA has around 4% of world population but around 22% of world Covid deaths.
And around 24% of worldwide Covid cases...let's not forget how having
even a mild Covid fucks up your blood vessels, brain & lungs.
I am talking about everyone not just healthcare people wearing masks. That's what they do in Asia and it seems to work better than no mask at all.

A mask must be used properly too. I'm hearing the suggestion to use it
in public transportation, for example, but it's not mandatory.

Iceberg will no doubt shred our universally acclaimed left-centre
cabinet of sensible ducks to pieces, if ever somebody not wearing a mask
gets bitten by the bug.

Ha ha ha. HA HA HA HA.

When the BLM protests started, Trump advised governors to “deploy the
National Guard in sufficient numbers that we dominate the streets”.

When the bug hit the streets, Trump could of advised governors to lock
their states down. He could of sprinkled that advice with a grain of
national emergency salt and a couple of "incentives". Trump had reports

But you know where the priorities are.

Ha ha ha ha. We have basically the same "NHS" you have !!! You LOVE your
NHS !!!

Although, strangely enuff, you do vote for people that want to tear it down.

Seriously, Ice. HC is a costly business. Whether it's public,
public/private, or totally private. And occasionally things need to be
shaken down. These are big and difficult issues.

The previous government went at it with political ambitions first. Did
so on a number of things. And paid the price for it. Nobody, well, maybe
a few, sheds any tears for those guys.

Our universally acclaimed left-centre government just won the covid Slam!

Ha ha ha ha. Good to see you working overtime!

But that news is 5 years old and the firm in question pulled out
after/because this was published. So much for collusion!

(Lolski. This rang a bell but had to google for it. I do recall I was

institutionally Russophobic. Looks like some past government wasn't!)

Now of course Trump supporters will ask what could Trump have done?
Well, Miles Taylor (former DHS chief of staff in Trump administration)
said it in his Washington Post opinion piece;

People always die.
Covid-19, if it exists, and I believe it does exist, kills those
who are weak and would die soon any way.
Weak excuse for unnecessary deaths.
USA has around 4% of world population but around 22% of world Covid deaths.
And around 24% of worldwide Covid cases...let's not forget how having
even a mild Covid fucks up your blood vessels, brain & lungs.
american covid rate has little to do with trump, our society isn't
built like yours and our people aren't like yours.
the governors had every chance to curb this early, and didn't. they
were worried about their elections too.
When the BLM protests started, Trump advised governors to “deploy the
National Guard in sufficient numbers that we dominate the streets”.

Exactly. Which has more innocent victims, the bug or the legal protests.

He could of sprinkled that advice with a grain of
national emergency salt and a couple of "incentives". Trump had reports
early on what the threat was going to be like.
But you know where the priorities are.
the gov't at state and federal level both knew a voluntary economic
collapse was not the preference in an election yr, coupled with a
virus nobody knew much about.
That was wishful thinking. We knew that then, we know it now. The
rationale for the lockdowns was always: lock it down, or the bug locks
you down.

If the boss says, against his better knowledge, that it's "one man

Just imagine Donald Trump in the Oval Office facing a real crisis. We
can’t afford that kind of risk.

Now of course Trump supporters will ask what could Trump have done?
Well, Miles Taylor (former DHS chief of staff in Trump administration)
said it in his Washington Post opinion piece;

And around 24% of worldwide Covid cases...let's not forget how having
even a mild Covid fucks up your blood vessels, brain & lungs.
american covid rate has little to do with trump, our society isn't
built like yours and our people aren't like yours.
the governors had every chance to curb this early, and didn't. they
were worried about their elections too.
When the BLM protests started, Trump advised governors to “deploy the
National Guard in sufficient numbers that we dominate the streets”.
got to protect the innocent.
Exactly. Which has more innocent victims, the bug or the legal protests.

they could have advised it on their own.

The
rationale for the lockdowns was always: lock it down, or the bug locks
you down.
If the boss says, against his better knowledge, that it's "one man
coming in from China", the rest will be equally cavalier. Trump uses the
bully pulpit selectively.

so everybody handled it poorly, in hindsight. including many euros.
Many Euros had a steep spike. Some handled it extremely poorly
initially, but got to their senses very quickly. Correcting own mistakes
isn't the Apprentice way.
Soon as they open up international travel all this goes out the window!

Dishonest & dumb argument. The point is of course that a DHS chief would
know about DHS crisis response & pandemic planning, regardless of where
he was published.

Yes, the odds to die from the Wuhan virus are about 2.8 times as high when you live in a D-Rat-governed state. And that even though the Chinese are the D-Rats friends!

It's more rampant in GOP states now.

Because in D-Rat states the people are already dead.

death rates:
1800 NY
1700 NJ
1400 MA
..
500 FL
400 TX

that's like winning 1st set 6-1, 2nd set 6-2, up a break in the 3rd
and you think the loser is "rallying."
