Probably two best ever claycourters playing at Philippe-Chatrier. Can't
get better than this. Won the super tb 10-2 against Griekspoor & pal.

They would be utterly unbeatable pair if Rafa was playing normal,
Alcaraz practised a bit doubles and they changed the sides on returns.
Now they're just damn hard to beat.

Anyway... love the bromance on court! :)))

I can see Alcaraz winning 7 FO's so yes very possibly the 2 best ever
claycourters. This Olympics doubles team will be studied in depth by
future tennis historians. It would be similar to something like Sampras
and Federer playing for doubles Olympics gold at Wimbledon if that were
possible.

Actually I just realized there's only 10 yrs age difference between
Sampras and Federer and 17 yrs between Nadal and Carlos lol : )

The 3 greatest Wimbledon champions won their combined 22 titles between
1993 and 2022, less than 30 years. Pretty remarkable. Federer 8, Novak
7 and Pete 7. I'd say Sampras is the best attacking Wimbledon champ,
Novak the best defensive and Federer a mix of the 2. Then we have
Alcaraz is some cyborg modern version who looks almost unbeatable. He
looks likely to join the 7+ club having already won 2 over the last 12
months or so. At same age the other 3 had 0 titles.
