Time again to talk about Djokovich's game

I still doubt he'll win the AO, but in thinking again about the elements
of his game, after hearing that he beat Alcaraz yesterday, I once again
am really impressed by the fact that I can see by his results that he
has won a lot, but watching his physical game, I cannot see anything at
all as a remarkable weapon. It is one of the blandest styles I can recall.

So to get the wins, it means that his execution of those bland strokes
is very, very consistent, and that since conditioning greatly affects
execution and hence consistency, his conditioning has been superb overall.

Too, I think he plays a mental game, and for those susceptible to it,
this, too, has helped him to get all those wins.

It's really not a fun game to watch, is it?

I find his very efficient enjoyable to watch. Very crafty is Djok.

Alcaraz gets exposed on HC, a concerns that I shared here before the match. I wasn't convinced he is the favorite. Check his results on HC for entire 2024.

Regarding Djokovic, at this stage in his career and age, it's all about the right balance and efficiency to preserve energy.

He got Zverev next, I convince myself that Zverev will have his time soon, but it's just hopes.

I respect the hard work Zverev has been putting in and the major changes in his personality accepting defeats in finals and SF while continuing to work harder.

Agree 100%. He could have packed it all in with the money he has already
won. Instead he appears to train even harder these days.
