I don't get this Federer obsession by some fans? The guy is not a good
sportsman imo. He's a terrible loser. Nadal is better, and Novak is
the best loser and winner. It can't have been easy for Novak to lose
the last 2 Wimbledon finals to Carlos, but he was very gracious in
defeat despite it being very painful for him. Novak doesn't bullshit
around like eg Rafa who always downplays his chances to take the
pressure off. Novak just calls it like it is, says he's confident of
winning if he plays his best but fully accepts he can still lose and
takes it like a true A grade sportsman. He has some of the best
characteristics of the old Aussies who fought hard on the court and made
no excuses when they lost. He's more intelligent and articulate than
Fed/Nadal combined, runs rings around them.

You can have Federer lol, not my type of champion at all.

It's very weird that he hasn't congratulated Novak on his gold medal?
Nadal was quick to praise him. I wonder if Federer thinks some fans
still consider him the goat in absolute terms? Now that would be
hilarious lol : )

If Federer wasn't such a twerp I'd feel sorry for him, but knowing his
personality it's better this way : )

I was mistaken then, I thought you were there :)

But clearly the full crowds in the stadium have a very different
opinion.

But this could be useful, and tell me when Federer didn't fake
being gracious on defeat like everyone else. You would be dumb if
you think that any of these champions are really broken when they
lose a final

I recall Federer crying like a new born baby after the 2009 Oz Open:

Sure, shows he cares a lot. Alcaraz cried too.
Nadal isolated himself in the bathroom after losing 2nd Wimbledon
final to Federer

Murray cried too after losing to Fed in Wimb.

Djokovic said after retiring a match and losing the first two sets
that he was in control of the match.
