Alexei Popyrin's good form just ended

Hello!

Yeah, well, Alexei Popyrin surprised everybody
by winning Montreal ATP1000 tournament. His
good form did not last for long: He just lost
to Gael Monfils in straight sets in Cincinnati
ATP1000. First round.

I did not see the match, but the loss seems to
be pretty pathetic. Monfils is old as hell,
after all, and should not have won.

Did anyone watch this match? Was Monfils in
great form or did Popyrin blow it? Or something
else?

I didn't see it but I would assume he is gassed from Montreal. He played
a lot there in a very short time span.
